Table shuffleboard has a proud tradition that dates back to 15th century England, when the game was known as shove groat or slide groat. Shuffleboard became popular in the U.S. in the 17th century as a game that involved a great amount of skill and a certain amount of chance. It was a pastime enjoyed by players of all ages, and that tradition continues today. At The Shuffleboard Federation, we're proud to do our part to honor those who came before us and to keep the tradition alive. We hope that these videos display the pride, fun, competitive spirit and friendship that binds the shuffleboard community around the world. Join us!
