One of the most famous shuffleboard photos ever taken. This custom made table was made by American Shuffleboard company and installed on the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt, a Polaris class submarine. It was brought on board through one of the torpedo tubes. A several month long "tournament under the sea" followed, featuring competition between the officers and the enlisted men. This was originally a classified Department of Defense photo, which was eventually given to Sol Lipkin (Mr. Shuffleboard). Sol later gave it to The Shuffleboard Federation.
